Troy, MI – The Kresge Foundation announced 208 awards totaling $43,698,088 to nonprofits in the USA and South Africa

Chatham, VA - Estate of Elizabeth Beckwith Nilsen to Chatham Hall, from the former graduate



    $31 million


Princeton, NJ – The gift to Princeton creates the Eric and Wendy Schmidt Transformative Technology Fund



    $25 million


Cleveland, OH – Case Western Reserve University announced estate gift from Donald J. and Ruth Weber Goodman that will fund research at the medical and dental schools of the university



    $20.5 million


Raleigh, NC – Johnson C. Smith University received this gift from the Duke Endowment for to develop two new initiatives, Center for Applied Leadership and Community Development, and the Metropolitan College



    $5.7 million


Birmingham, AL – Gift from the McKnight Foundation established the Evelyn F. McKnight Brain Institute at University of Alabama, Birmingham, support the institute and the Evelyn F. McKnight Endowed Chair for Learning and Memory in Aging

New York - Adrienne Arsht gift to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to support musical theater programming

Minneapolis, MN – Estate gift from Arnold Meleen left to local charities including the Salvation Army

Terre Haute, IN - Gift from Randall and Nancy Minas to Indiana State University, College of Business for the financial trading room and establish an endowment



    $1.35 million


Fort Myers, FL – The Backe Foundation Inc. made a gift to Florida Gulf Coast University and established the Backe Chair in Renewable Energy Endowed Fund



    $1 million
